Voopoo - VThru Pro

The V Thru Pro from Voopoo is finally here and we're going to go ahead and declare it the best pod release yet for 2020. It's been a while since we've been this impressed with a pod device and it seems like Voopoo are really setting a new standard with the V Thru Pro.

The first thing that grabs your attention is the use of Voopoo's awesome GENE chip. You get a full sized screen on the side of the device with adjustable wattage from 5-40w. The finish on these devices also feels really great in the hand and the pods feel comfortable on the lips when taking a draw. 

We had our little tester unit for a month and with everyday usage - we haven't experienced any condensation build-up in the pod connection or any leaks. The coil life has been great too - at roughly 2 weeks between changes and it could have gone longer if we weren't being picky. The flavour on these pods (we prefer the 0.7ohm) has gotten a solid 9/10 for us and did we mention it's got a 900mAh battery? That's 73% more than the Uwell Caliburn (which was crowned 2019's best pod device).

Like with most pod devices these days, you're given two options. A lower resistance pod (0.7ohm) that has more airflow and more cloud or a higher resistance pod (1.2ohm) that offers a tighter draw for those mouth-to-lung fans. The kit comes with one of each so you can see which one suits you best. While there's no adjustable airflow, we think they got the airflow bang on.
